Sound and volume
distribution settings
Note:
You can adjust the bass, treble and
loudness individually for each audio
source.
Adjusting the bass
Press the AUD button 9.
BASS appears in the display.
Press the or button 7 to adjust the
bass.
When you have finished making your changes,
press the AUD button 9.
Adjusting the treble
Press the AUD button 9.
BASS appears in the display.
Keep pressing the or button 7 un-
til TREBLE appears in the display.
To adjust the treble,
press the or button 7.
When you have finished making your changes,
press the AUD button 9.
Loudness
The loudness feature can be used to aurally
compensate (boost) the bass at low volume
levels.
Press the AUD button 9.
BASS appears in the display.
Keep pressing the or button 7 un-
til LOUD appears in the display.
To adjust the loudness,
press the or button 7.
LOUD OFF means loudness is deactivat-
ed; LOUD 6 means maximum loudness
boost.
When you have finished making your changes,
press the AUD button 9.
Adjusting the right/left volume
distribution (balance)
To adjust the balance,
press the AUD button 9.
BASS appears in the display.
Keep pressing the or button 7 un-
til BAL appears in the display.
To adjust the right/left volume distribution,
press the or button 7.
When you have finished making your changes,
press the AUD button 9.
Adjusting the front/back volume
distribution (fader)
To adjust the fader,
press the AUD button 9.
BASS appears in the display.
Keep pressing the or button 7 un-
til FADER appears in the display.
To adjust the front/back volume distribution,
press the or button 7.
When you have finished making your chang-
es,
press the AUD button 9.
TA-SOUND
You can separately adjust the sound and vol-
ume distribution settings for traffic informa-
tion announcements.
Press and hold the softkey 4 that cor-
responds to the TA display item for
longer than two seconds.
TA-SOUND appears in the display.
Keep pressing the or button 7 un-
til the required parameter appears in the
display.
Make your adjustments using the or
button 7.
When you have finished making your changes,
press the AUD button 9.
