Selecting a TMC station

If it is possible to tune into more than one TMC station, you can select a station.

1. Press

on the remote control.

The “Congestion” menu will appear. ✔

2. If the “TMC D-Namic tuner box” is connected, select the “TMC station list”.

For a TMC car radio, select “TMC search”. Press

TMC D-Namic tuner box: the TMC station list will appear. ✔

Note:

If there are no TMC stations in your reception area, you will hear a beep.

TMC car radio: If the radio is not tuned into a TMC station, a TMC search will

begin. ✔

3. For the “TMC D-Namic tuner box”, select the TMC station. Press

The TMC car radio will automatically tune into a TMC station.

The “Congestion” menu will appear. The TMC station currently selected will

appear next to the menu item. ✔

Plus Point: The “TMC D-Namic tuner box” will automatically use the TMC

station you have selected (preferred station). This means that after you leave

the reception area served by your preferred station (the system will tune into

a different TMC station) and return again later, this is the station that will be

selected even if other TMC stations are available. This intelligent switching

function means that the station indication may change frequently in the re-

ception area as well. This ensures that you always receive all of the traffic

information which is transmitted by the TMC stations within reception range.
