Storing TMC stations automatically - “TMC Store”

The unit can automatically store six TMC stations from the region in the FMC

memory. Please note that any stations previously stored in the FMC memory

will be overwritten by the TMC Store function. For further details on TMC, read

the section entitled “Dynamic navigation” in the “Navigation” chapter and the

“TMC” section in this chapter.

Note: A navigation CD for the country which you are currently in

must have been inserted in the unit once so that the TMC Store

feature can work.

Starting TMC Store

If you want to start TMC Store,

1 switch to the radio functions menu by pressing the TU button A and

2 press the softkey assigned to the PAGE 2 menu item.

3 Press the softkey assigned to the TMCSTORE menu item.

✔ The activity of TMC Store is indicated symbolically in the display. The

progress is displayed as a percentage in the title line. After TMC Store

has finished, all the stations stored in the FMC memory are played brief-

ly, and the unit then switches to the station stored in memory location

one.

Note: A TMC Store session can take a very long time because the

entire frequency range is scanned for receivable TMC stations.
