Video display | Voice output during route guidance | Additional functions
DANGER!
Distraction from the traffi c can cause
accidents
The video display does not replace the view
through the windshield.
The video display does not always correspond to
reality, e.g. distances are more diffi cult to esti-
mate. The wide-angle lens of the camera and ex-
terior infl uences, e.g. backlight, rain or darkness,
distort the video image or affect its quality.
Always carefully observe the traffi c by looking
through the windows of the vehicle.
Note:
If you select the video display for the route
guidance, the signpost recognition is deacti-
vated. The speed limits from the map material
are used.
Voice output during route
guidance
Your navigation device supports route guidance
with voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions and
announces turns in advance. In the process, it an-
nounces the street names. In the map/navigation
settings, you can activate and deactivate the voice
instructions of the navigation (ch. "Working with
the map").
In the navigation, press the VOL - or VOL +
button to adjust the volume for the voice out-
put.
Touch the lower fi eld on the display to
repeat the last voice output.

Touch the symbol in the map view.
A drop-down menu is displayed.
Touch the symbol.
The Route Guidance Options menu is
displayed.
Display information about the
destination
For every destination, you can display the
address, distance and driving time. For tours, all
interim destinations are listed fi rst.
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol.
For tours, touch an entry to display the infor-
mation for an interim destination.
Cancelling route guidance
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol.
Skipping the next destination
Prerequisite:
Tour with at least 1 interim destination (tour
planning)
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol to skip the next
interim destination.
The route is recalculated and the next
destination is approached.
