Settings

You can perform these settings:

Map and navigation settings (ch. "Working

with the map")

Device settings:

Adjust the settings for the device to your

needs, e.g. the user icon in the main menu,

the language, the display or the time.

Conﬁ gure various Infotainment functions

such as WLAN or audio/video.

Touch the symbol in the main

menu.

The Settings menu is displayed.

Touch the button to scroll

through this menu.

If you performed changes to the settings:

Touch the button to exit the

menu.

Setting the alarm

The alarm function also operates if the device

is switched off. Check beforehand whether the

correct local time is displayed on the device.

In the Settings menu, touch the

symbol to set the alarm clock.

The current time is displayed in the

Alarm Clock menu.

Touch the Alarm Set button.

Touch the buttons to set the

alarm time in hours and min-

utes.

Touch the button to change

these settings.

Every day or Mondays to Fridays

If necessary, touch the Reset button to reset

the alarm settings to the factory settings.

The adjusted alarm time is dis-

played in the Alarm Clock menu.

Audio/video

The device has an AV-IN/OUT socket for external

audio/video devices. Use this menu to deﬁ ne

whether you want to receive video signals (AV IN)

or output them (AV OUT).

In the Settings menu, touch the sym-

bol.

The Audio/Video menu is displayed.

Touch the symbol to change between

AV input (AV-IN) and AV output (AV-

OUT function).

Touch the symbol to change between

the television standards PAL, SE-

CAM and NTSC for the AV-OUT sock-

et.

For the video image to be transmitted

correctly, both devices must use the

same television standards.

Touch the symbol to switch on auto-

matic video signal recognition (ON)

for the AV-IN socket or to switch it off

(OFF).

For example, if a back-up camera

is connected, the camera image is

shown as soon as you place the car

in reverse.

Setting My Button in the main menu

(quick access)

In the main menu, you quickly access the most

important applications. This quick access can be

changed. Use the symbol for the application you

use frequently. By default, the symbol is assigned

the DVB-T function.
